Hello! Thanks for stopping by. This is a relatively new website--though I've been writing a long time. Science and technology are wonderful, but writing is all about intuition, invention, the detours of the imagination.

I enumerate on my fingers. "One novel, one collection of short stories, a couple of books on different life stages, a book on recovering a sense of sabbath, a book to enrich your understanding of certain hymns and songs, several books on grief--personal essay books.Not much continuity." I pause, because here comes a big change of focus. "And fourteen books for young children."

"Your children's books--tell me about them?" my questioner asks, startled at the switch.

"Some are quite light-hearted--THE REASON I'M NOT QUITE FINISHED TYING MY SHOES, or EEPS CREEPS, IT'S MY ROOM. Some are of common events in children's lives: I'M MOVING; MY FRIEND WILLIAM MOVED AWAY. Some are much heavier situations some children experience: WHEN ANDY'S FATHER WENT TO PRISON, ROBERT LIVES WITH HIS GRANDPARENTS. Two of my books are retold Bible stories. My most recent children's book is about how children experience God. You can find out much more about all my books, including where to find them, if you click on BOOKS at the top of the page. Some of them are out of print, but you can often find copies in used books websites.
